Happy International Women’s Day! Today serves as a reminder of the ongoing need for action to address gender disparities and ensure equal rights and opportunity for women and girls worldwide.

International Women’s Day (IWD) was officially recognized by the United Nations in 1975. Each year, IWD has a specific theme to highlight various aspects of gender equality and women’s empowerment; this year’s theme is ‘Invest in women: Accelerate progress.”
